In a move aimed at enhancing resident care and fostering community engagement, the Middle River-Thief Lake Living at Home/Block Nursing Program has officially moved its operations from the Old Coop building to the Spruce Valley Community Center. This relocation brings the services offered by LAH closer to the residents at the Manor, ushering in a new era of accessibility and interaction.

Cindy, the dedicated director of MRTL LAH/BNP, expressed her enthusiasm for the move, highlighting the invaluable opportunity it presents for more direct and meaningful interaction with the residents at the Royal Manor. “Being just a stone’s throw away from the Manor means that I can now easily walk over to visit and engage with our cherished residents. It’s all about making their lives better,” she said. If you have a family member that could benefit from the services provided by LAH, please call and they can help your loved ones with meals, transportation to appointments, shopping, and more.

One noteworthy addition to the new location is the incorporation of a library space. Clients will now have access to a collection of books and resources to enrich their lives.

Cindy extends a warm invitation to the community, saying, “I invite everyone to come and visit us at our new location, conveniently situated right across from the fire hall. We’re excited about this change and look forward to serving the Middle River community with enhanced healthcare and a welcoming space for knowledge and connection.”

The relocation of Thief Lake Block Nursing to the Spruce Valley Community Center marks a significant step forward in prioritizing the well-being and convenience of Middle River’s residents, fostering a closer-knit community, and providing valuable resources for personal growth and enrichment.
