The BGMR Gator Volleyball team earned a trip to the Minnesota State Tournament after defeating the Kittson County Central Bearcats 3-2 at the University of Minnesota Crookston on November 3.
This is the third straight trip to state for the Gators who also represented Section 8A in 2021 and 2022.
They will bring a 24-8 record to the competition and in a random draw, their opponent will be #3 seeded Mabel-Canton from Section 1A who comes to the tournament with a 35-1 record with state appearances in 2000, 2001, and 2022. The game will be on Thursday, November 9 at 7 p.m. at the Xcel Center in St. Paul.
