MCC Selects

MSHSL “Triple A” Winners

Nick has taken 6 college courses while at MCC and has a 4.0 GPA. He has been in band and choir since 7th grade and large group band and choir contests as a senior. He participated in two high school musicals, “Mama Mia” and “Grease” and was Captain and All-Conference Honorable Mention in football as a senior. His teacher’s letter of recommendation states: “I have seen Nick grow into a strong role model within our school. He is kind and considerate to classmates and teachers, a strong academic, and shows strength and leadership.” Nick plans on attending NDSU in the fall and majoring in Radiologic Sciences.

Kaydence has taken 7 college courses while attending MCC and has a 4.241 GPA. She has been in band and choir since seventh grade. She performed a band solo in 9th grade, and large group as a senior. She has participated in choir contests grades 9-12 (superior rating grades 9-11), Best of site in grades 9-11, and large group as a senior. She has participated in the One-Act play in grades 10 and 12 and has been in 6 musicals, performing the female lead in “Grease.” She was selected to participate in UND’s Honor Choir in 2024, one of 80 students that were selected from 400. She has participated in volleyball, serving as captain as a senior, and chosen as all-conference as a junior and senior. She also participates in basketball, serving as captain her senior year and chosen all-conference as a junior. Her third sport is softball where she served as captain and received all-conference her junior year. Kaydence plans to attend NCTC for her AA degree and then attend the University of Minnesota Crookston and major in Elementary Education and Early Childhood.
