A Walleye Fish Fry will be held at the Middle River American Legion on Saturday, February 3rd, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Funds raised at the supper will be put towards the purchase of a new furnace.
The members of Post 444 have been actively fundraising, but this time two community members have stepped up to give back to the Legion for the service they provide to our community. The idea was brought to the Legion by Marc Horien and Mardy Anderson and the members are joining in to work the event and help make it a success.
The Walleye Filet meal will include baked potato, coleslaw, and vegetables for $20. A kids meal of hot dog and chips will be available for $5. There will also be 6 slabs of premium bacon from Erl’s in Thief River Falls that will be auctioned off throughout the night!
This event is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and support the American Legion's efforts to make essential improvements.
