The Strandquist Food Shelf serves the areas of Strathcona, Middle River, Holt, Viking, Newfolden, Florian, Strandquist and Karlstad. The food shelf is open the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 2:304:30pm and is located next to the Strandquist Community Center.
In 2023, the Strandquist Food Shelf received donations from area churches, schools, organizations, individual community members and memorials. They want to say Thank You for your support and generous donations. And thank you to the students from area schools for their food drives!
The Strandquist Food Shelf also was fortunate to receive a grant from Enbridge to help purchase a freezer to improve their facilities. Thank you, Enbridge, for your generous support. And thank you to everyone in the area that has supported the Strandquist Food Shelf.
