Join the MCC Education Foundation and the MCC Fine Arts Department at 'Dinner with the Fine Arts' on Saturday, February 24th. This year marks the third Fine Arts dinner at Marshall County Central. In 2022, the event raised almost $2500, which was divided between the Fine Arts Department and the MCC Education Foundation's Scholarship Endowment Fund.

The doors open at 5:00 pm and the meal will be served at 5:45 pm. It will be a night full of entertainment with musical performances provided by the MCC Chamber Choir, Maddie Waterworth, Ellie Underdahl, Kaydence Augustine, Brooke Bjorgaard, Hannah Bjorgaard, Jorja Love, Jaiden Timm, piano students of Rachel Mattson. The evening’s performances will be capped off with a one-act play, Bad Auditions… On Camera.

MCC Student Council and National Honor Society members will assist in several areas and are essential in making the event run smoothly, they work hard to serve the meal among other things. This year’s meal is catered by Humblebees CafĂ© and the entree choices are chicken or meatballs.

It takes a tremendous amount of dedication to prepare a night of entertainment like this, and it would not be possible without the help of MCC music director Michael Thompson, drama director Tyler Campbell, visual arts teacher Lisa Donarski, Rachel Mattson, student council advisor Laura Underdahl, National Honor Society advisor Angie Peterson and the entire MCC custodial staff.

Many area businesses have helped sponsor this event, which has helped keep the price to attend at a reasonable level and still enables the event to raise funds. We can't thank those businesses enough for their support. The sponsoring businesses will be recognized at the event and afterwards.

Reservations can be made at the MCC High School Office and at Marshall County State Bank until February 16th. The cost is $25.00 per person.
