The Marshall County Area Veterans Memorial Park wants to make all the area citizens and communities aware of the latest addition to the Memorial. On March 14th Brodin Studios delivered and installed the bronze statue to honor all veterans and their families who live with and have experienced PTSD. Post-traumatic Stress Disorder is a condition that can develop after a person is exposed to a traumatic event. PTSD is common for many veterans after military service. It effects not only the veteran but also family and loved ones. The bronze statue is a solemn reminder of the sacrifice veterans make that does not end when their military career ends.
The MCAVMP continues to find ways we can all show how much we care for and appreciate the men and women who have served. Through the interviews of veterans on the website, collection of memorabilia and stories, the goal is to keep the memories and history alive for generations to come. Special thanks to Brodin Studio, Inc. from Kimball, MN for the amazing work on the bronze statues located in the memorial. The tribute and respect they represent to all veterans is beyond humbling.
Lastly, thank you to veterans and their families everywhere for your service and sacrifice. Please visit the park and know it is a small way to let you know you are not forgotten.
