COACH’S NOTES: With pitching being somewhat of a question mark for the 2024 season BGMR pitchers would combine to walk
14 Spud hitters and the Spuds would take advantage adding 9 more hits in a 16-9 victory over the Gators. The Spuds would take a 2-0 lead after the second inning but BGMR would answer with 5 runs of their own in the third. The big blast being a three run homer by Quinn Vacura. Offensively the Gators were led by Teagan Landsrud who had three hits and McKenzie Dahl who picked up 2 hits.
Landsrud would collect 4 runs batted in and also had a homerun.

COACH’S NOTES: BGMR had to bounce back right away after the Moorhead loss as the Gators would take on Fargo Davies. These games were part of the quadrangular which involved Moorhead, Fargo Davies and Thief River Falls. A quick start is exactly what the doctor ordered after the Gators suffered a defeat to Moorhead. BGMR would jump on Fargo Davies early scoring
4 runs in their half of the first and tacking on 2 more in the third,
1 in the fourth and fifth innings each. Gator starting pitcher Sierra Westberg went right to work with the early lead and would keep the Davies lineup at bay. Westberg would throw a complete game 3 hitter, striking out 8 and did not walk a batter.
