The BGMR Gator Softball Team travelled to Red Lake Falls on Tuesday looking to avenge an earlier season loss to the Eagles. Although the Gators started quickly and took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, Red Lake Falls would take advantage of wild Gator pitching, scoring 2 runs in the first, 6 in the third and 3 in the fourth to put away the Gators. The Eagles would tack on 1 more run in the fifth and 2 in the sixth in route to their 14-6 win.
The Gators would outhit the Eagles twelve to ten. Jaci Hanson would lead the charge with 3 hits. Jordan Lee, Teagan Landsrud and Quinn Vacura would each collect two hits.
When given a chance the Gator defense was solid, committing only 2 errors. Gator pitchers however would allow 10 hits and 11 walks, while striking out 6 Eagle hitters.
