This is a celebration for our “Miss Middle River Sisterhood of Royalty”. Special guests invited are former title holders, EVERY contestant that has participated, and any committee members who served throughout the years. Please reach out to any contestants or committee members that you know who have worked with this organization to invite them to this royal event.
The private event will be held on Saturday, August 3rd starting at 11:30am with a Brunch Social, serving light hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The Brunch Social will be private for the special guests, BUT it will be followed by a 1:00pm program honoring the 50 years of Miss Middle River that will be OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
We ask titleholders to please wear your crown to this semiformal attired event. You can RSVP to Rachel, at [email protected] or text 218-688-0018, which is preferred by July 6th (the earlier the better for planning purposes) An additional note: If able, please bring your pageant dress or any other memorabilia from your reign. If possible, drop off at the Legacy Center or with any of the current committee members (KayDell, Marlene, Mindy or Rachel) ANYTIME BEFORE AUGUST 2, so it can be displayed at this year’s pageant. You can also bring it with you to the Gala for reminiscing, but it won’t be displayed.
REMINDER FOR FORMER TITLEHOLDERS: You are also invited to the 50th Miss Middle River Scholarship Pageant (pending enough contestants) as visiting royalty the evening of Friday, August 2nd. If you know any young women that will be a junior or senior in high school in this area, please encourage them to be a part of this year’s pageant.
Titleholders, all contestants, and committee members are asked to please RSVP for the Saturday Brunch, which is a private event to open the weekend’s festivities.
