Bernice (Bunny) McKeever of Middle River recently retired as treasurer of Spruce Valley Township. She has served faithfully in this position since 1971. She was awarded a plaque at a recent meeting of the town board. The township thanks her for her years of service to the community. While serving as treasurer she tells of removing brush along township roads, painting in the Spruce Valley Community Center and managing the finances for the township. She has many stories to share about her years of service. Her dedication to her position on the town board will be missed. Jessica Logelin has agreed to fill her position. Bunny remains active in the community, volunteering to many organizations and groups. She is pictured with Township officers Barry Walton, Brian Bolduc, Deb Ornquist, and David Thompson. Happy retirement, Bunny!
