Don’t Miss the Excitement of a Royal Weekend!
The 2024 Miss Middle River Pageant will kick off a weekend filled with royal activity. It will be held on Friday, August 2, at 7 pm at The Venue at Copper Ridge near Newfolden. Five young ladies will be vying for the title of Miss Middle River 2024 - Kailey Hanson, Emily Waterworth, Kaitlyn Helmeke, Kaydence Augustine, and Tessa Hoglo will be competing in the categories of personal interview, talent, evening gown, on-stage question, and lifestyle and fitness.
The next day, Saturday, August 3, a very special Royal Gala will be held celebrating the 50th year of the Miss Middle River Pageant with many former title holders, contestants, and committee members being honored. The gala will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a private gathering of participants and committees from 50 years. At 1:00 pm the doors will be open to the public to enjoy a program honoring these special ladies and the opportunity to celebrate 50 years of Middle River pride.
The Miss North Star and Miss Glacial Waters competitions will be held Sunday, August 4 at 4 p.m. The location of this pageant will also be The Venue at Copper Ridge. Eight young ladies from throughout Minnesota will be competing in the Interview, Lifestyle and Fitness, Talent and Evening Wear areas of competition. Miss Minnesota, Emily Schumacher, will be in attendance as well as Miss Minnesota’s Outstanding Teen Brynn Olson. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10. The newly crowned Miss North Star and Miss Glacial Waters will compete in the Miss Minnesota Scholarship competition next June 2025 at Treasure Island Casino in Welch, MN.
