50th Anniversary

For many years the Middle River Community Club collaborated with the Thief River Falls Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to bring in visiting media from several states to enjoy and be special guests of the Goose Festival. In 2015 following the Media Breakfast Friday morning, all visiting media were treated to an airboat ride on Lake Agassiz led by Gregg Knutsen. Honker Publisher Barb Geer was the lucky one to take the first ride.

Members of the media traveled from near and far to take part in the “Call of the Goose” media event.

A radio station from the Brainerd area visits with Miss Minnesota and a respresentative from the Explore Minnesota coalition.
