NEWFEST 2024 - Building The Future September 6, 7 & 8

You are invited to join this year’s Newfest festivities on September 6, 7 and 8. The theme “Building The Future” is a celebration of this year’s Grand Marshal-Marshall County Central. A building dedication as well as building tours will be scheduled!

The new Marshall County Central Commons Area will host the 2024 Wall of Honor program. Join us as this year’s inductees are honored: Mary Anderson, Gloria Ness, Ron Paggen, and Ron Ueland. After the parade tour the renovated Elementary and High School buildings.

Participate in all Newfest has to offer! Many activities benefit local volunteer or service organizations – we encourage you to check them out! Weekend activities includes Friday evening at BrewHaHa for worship night, HeeHaw and a BBQ Fundraiser at the Community Center, or high school football with MCC versus KCC. Saturday events include the Newfest Parade, 1k and 5k Fun Runs, Antique Tractor Pull, Pedal Pull, Xtreme Ball, Inflatable Games, Bingo, Treasure Hunt and More. Sunday closes the event with the infamous Newfolden Lion’s Brunch. Watch for additions and updates!

The Outdoor Market Place continues to fill with vendors. So far, the list includes Perry’s Paws, Simply Boutique, All Occasion Wreaths, Lilla Rose, Vicki Gast homemade donuts, lefse, jams, and pies, Sara Jane Boutique, Carol’s Bibs, Joyful Journey Adventures Travel Booth, Weekend Crafters, Big Red Barn Kennel, Sunshine Acres, Grandma K’s Kitchen, Park Lane Jewelry, Ellies Boutique, JLynne Crafts, Minneleaf, Golden Valley Pepper Co., Stephanie Skadsem, Moehring’s Homemade, River Falls Ranch, Brian B-Hunting and Fishing, Got Gloss by Rachel, Lori with Thirty-One, and Paparazzi.

Visit Humblebees Café, The Hobo, Express Mart, and BrewHaHa Coffee Shop as well as a large variety of food vendors lining the streets.

Newfest buttons/raffle will be available at local business; purchase a button for $5.00 and you are registered to win $400, $300, 200, and $100 in cash, along with other gift certificates and prizes. Need not be present to win!

Finally, a variety of music entertainment begins after the parade and will be located downtown in the band-shell. Music under the tent includes Eagle Creek, The Woodpicks, Sixties Chicks, Family Connection, and a variety of local musicians. A music schedule will be made available before Newfest weekend.
