Mom Amy, and kids Maggie, Liam and Jonah Hall recently demonstrated for friends at the Newfolden Center how monarch butterflies emerge from their chrysalis - beautiful!
This photo of Jovenia Walton and her children Jarrett, Wendy, and Wade was identified several months ago. Now we have received identification of the three people standing behind them. Pam Nelson says they are Annie Haugen with Ellen and Clarence Lian. The Lians lived 11 miles east on County Road #6. We are guessing this was the first “Goose Festival & Old West Days” from 1975 since many people were dressed up in old styles for the celebration.
Pam Nelson was also thinking the three boys running alongside the Larson wagon from a couple weeks ago could have been Larry, Roger, and Laverne Nelson. If this is from the 1958 Centennial Parade, the ages would have matched.
HeeHaw Newfest Show was a great evening of music and laughter! Pictured are musicians, jokesters and audience members. Marsha Anderson and Howard Hodne helped organize this enjoyable event, Tri Community Living at Home served a tasty lunch and a good time was had by all!
