MR-TL LAH Program Food Shelf Donations
Middle River Thief Lake Living at Home Program is accepting donations for the Strandquist Food Shelf. Donations can be dropped off at the Living at Home office. Office hours are Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. located at the Spruce Valley Community Center.
The Strandquist food shelf serves the areas of Strathcona, Middle River, Holt, Viking, Newfolden, Florian, Strandquist and Karlstad. The food shelf is open the second Tuesday of every month from 2:30 to 4:30. The food shelf is located next to the Strandquist Community Center.
The Strandquist Food Shelf receives donations from area churches, schools, organizations, individuals, community members and memorials. The Strandquist Food Shelf appreciates all the support and generous donations. Hats off to the area schools for their food drives!
North Valley Public Health will hold Foot Care and Blood Pressure Clinics on the following dates:

•Middle River Royal Manor Apartments: Tuesday, October 15th, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. Contact: North Valley Public Health at 218-7455154 Please call to cancel if you feel ill. Please call the person listed above to sign up. We require sign-up sheets so that we can staff accordingly. If you are not able to keep your appointment, please call to cancel.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. The North Valley Public Health staff will soak feet and trim nails. The fee for this foot care service is $20 per person.
The North Valley Public Health staff will do free blood pressure checks upon request.
