The parade entry above in this year’s 50th Goose Fest parade was definitely one of the most patriotic, unique, and memorable. It honors the same flag entry that was in the 1976 Goose Fest parade celebrating our nation’s Bicentennial. This year’s “FLAG” included Deb Blanchard, Nikki Walton, Meridith Walton, Norie Christofferson, and Trudy Nelson.
q The original flag below from 1976 was made up of Alice Matero, Ione Tuura, Edna Curtiss, Dowie Kilen, and Emma Anderson.
