Families gathered in costumes of all kinds this past Sunday for a Halloween party hosted by the Middle River Youth Group at the American Legion Post 444 in Middle River. The back room buzzed with energy as kids enjoyed decorating cookies, crafting pumpkins, and par-ticipating in a variety of games set up for everyone to enjoy. Highlights of the event included costume judging by special guests Miss Middle River 2024 Kaydence Augustine, Miss Great River’s Teen 2025 Emily Waterworth, and Miss Red River Valley 2025 O’Brien Stromsodt, who awarded prizes to those dressed in the best costumes of the night.
The Middle River Youth Group extends their heartfelt thanks to the American Legion Post 444 for providing the space, Janie Brandon and Brian Bolduc for the pumpkins, and the Sports-men’s Club for their generous donation that allowed for new games and plenty of candy! A big thank you also to the families who attended and made the night unforgettable.
The Middle River Youth Group looks forward to another great celebration next year in 2025!
