MCC Music Students Excel at Solo Contest

Select MCC music students attended the annual solo contests, hosted at KCC on November 13th. Seven MCC students attended and participated in the contest this year with five students performing a vocal solo, one student doing an instrumental solo, and one student doing both a vocal and an instrumental solo. Of the eight solos performed, all of them received superiors, the top rating of the scoring system used for solo contest. Brooke Bjorgaard also received the “Outstanding Soloist” award, given to the top soloist her judge saw that day. Way to go MCC music students!
