The North Country Horsemen Trails to Treatments (NCH TTT) held its 16th annual Cancer Benefit & Ride in August earlier this year and just this week announced proceeds for 2024 total $195,721.37. Sponsorships, money raised by both horse and motorcycle riders, raffle tickets and auction items are just some of the ways money is raised at the events in August.
The Cancer Benefit’s Live Auction was very successful once again, bringing in over $20,000. The number of incredible items donated to this event and the generous people who come to support such a worthy cause continue the bidding into the night each year. TTT Teams donated $110,388.53. The committee thanks everyone who donated items or volunteered time to their annual fundraiser.
With all of the money coming in, there is more going out. Fulfilling their “mission to assist those in need of funding during their treatment of cancer...” NCH TTT has awarded 1,870 grants to 1,404 recipients. Those undergoing treatment for cancer are eligible to apply once every year, 295 people have received two or more grants. These grants to people doctoring due to cancer total $1,363,200 as of November 20, 2024.
Starting soon North Country Horsemen’s 50th Anniversary t-shirts and hoodies and Trails to Treatments shirts will be available at the Co-op in Middle River with limited sizes available and reduced prices on TTT shirts.
