It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

The time is here for the Christmas Sharing Tree Project! Once again, Marshall County Social Services is sponsoring the Christmas project. This is an opportunity for the people of Marshall County to show their love and generosity by purchasing a gift for a child.

If you would like to be part of this heart-warming experience, visit one of the tree locations, the ornaments at these locations list specific sizes and gift ideas to make shopping easier. The deadline is December 4th.

There are 13 trees set up in the county, they are located at - American Federal Bank, Bremer Bank, Frandsen Bank & Trust, Silo Boutique, Glow by Krissy and Simply Boutique all in Warren; United Valley Bank in Argyle, KodaBank in Stephen; the Marshall County State Bank in Newfolden; Frandsen Bank & Trust in Oslo; Border State Bank and the Old Creamery in Middle River; and the American State Bank in Grygla.

Katie Melgaard delivered an acceptance speech at the MREA Greater Education Summit during the awards presentation.
