The mission of the Middle River/Thief Lake Living at Home program is to provide services to our seniors so that they may live independently and safely in the surroundings of their homes. Some of the services that we provide are: delivery of Meals on Wheels; transportation for medical, errands and shopping; socializing in person or by telephone; and also joining our History and Hot Dish sessions and other activities.
Being a non-profit organization, volunteers are the heart of Living at Home. We depend on the generosity of our community, businesses, organizations and grants. Besides monetary donations, volunteer drivers, office helpers, volunteers to assist with events (either setting up, cleaning up or cooking/baking) are also needed. Donations of items that could be used to help us run our office on a day to day basis are also welcomed.
