On December 7, the American Legion Post 444 hosted the annual Santa Days, an event filled with holiday spirit. Many children came out to meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and enjoyed creating festive crafts. The New Maine 4-H Club was on hand to assist, adding to the joy and excitement of the day.
This year, however, was bittersweet. Ole Mc-Keever, the beloved elf who faithfully stood by Santa’s side at this event for so many years, was deeply missed this year. Ole’s dedication and warmth brought smiles to countless faces, and his absence was profoundly felt.
