The BGMRTC Gators made their presence known at Rumble on the Red held at Fargo January 2 through January 3. Rumble on the Red has been known as one of the highest caliber and competitive tournaments in high school folkstyle in the nation. As a high school team, day one showed to be very successful as eight Gator competitors made it through to Day 2 - Ben Flaten, Wyatt Peterson Emmett Isane, Christian Berg, Isaac Olson, Walter Taus, Madilyn Pulk and Sarah Pulk. The momentum coming into day two was hard to hold as many Gator first round losses resulted. Isane was successful and made the podium in the 145 division placing fifth, Madilyn Pulk went 1-2 for the day coming up with a Fourth place finish. Sarah Pulk battled hard against Julia Araujo, the three time North Dakota State champ, but fell short in the finals match 4 to 3. She returned home with a second place finish for the year, the highest placing for the high school team.
Emmitt Isane (145) ended with a 6-2 record for the tournament and placed 5th. Madilyn Pulk (148 Girls) 4-2 for the tournament placed 4th. Sarah Pulk 4-1 for the tournament placed 2nd.
Emily Pulk (12U 122-133 girls) went 3-0 for a 1st place finish at Rumble on the Red, Fargo, January 4. Derek Dvergsten (8u 80lb) went 3-3 for a 6th place finish. Caleb Bergsnev (10u 95lb) went 3-2 for a 3rd place finish. Additionally James Evans (8u 90+) finished 4th, Blayke Fillmore (9u 45-48 Girls) finished 5th, Mia Kjos (12u 70-77 girls) finished 4th, and Chesely Spindler (12u 93-102 Girls) finished 6th.
