36 juniors were selected by a selection committee to represent Minnesota's 2025 ExCEL award.

Emily Burkel & Tryg Olson of Badger High School were both selected. This recognition is a testament to their outstanding contributions and dedication!

Emily and Tryg are invited to participate in an on-court award ceremony. The ceremony will take place during the Girls Basketball State Tournament on Saturday, March 15th, at Williams Arena in Minneapolis. Award recipients will be introduced and presented with a plaque during the halftime of the 2:00 PM championship game.
