Alexis Lombard, Miss North Star 2025, spent an entire day visiting with the Greenbush-Middle River elementary students last week. Alexis, who was 5 days old when she had her first heart surgery, is a child heart disease survivor and shared information with the students about the importance of heart health, heart safety, CPR and 911. Alexis is a student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and will graduate with her Political Science and Paramedicine degrees this spring. When she is not studying, Paramedic Lombard responds to the emergencies of 1.2 million Minnesotans with North Memorial Ambulance Service in the Metro area. She looks forward to showcasing her passions for EMS and education in June when she will compete for the title of Miss Minnesota 2025.
