Lacey Groff of Thief River Falls was one of the first artists to register their artwork at the annual Northwest Minnesota Arts Council Art Show which is being held at the Middle River Legacy Center this year. Her entry is an acrylic painting titled “Pond Pals.” This is her first year entering the arts festival. Sandi Melby, Gallery Chairperson, checks her off the list of entries in this year’s show which includes over 70 entries. The Gallery opens for public display on Saturday, March 11 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. Public visiting schedule continues March 13 - April 28 during regular business hours. Special hours will be Saturday, April 8 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm, and April 11 & 18 until 7:00 pm. The final closing day of the Gallery will be Sunday, April 30 with a 1:00 pm opening, 3:00 pm luncheon, and 4:00 pm program with special awards. Everyone is welcome!
