The American Legion Post #444 is the official sponsor of this year’s newly organized Middle River Legion Baseball Team. Hunter Gullikson will be head coach of the team with no assistants named at this time. The logo for the team is a swinging goose and the team colors will be blue and white.
Requirements for players on this team include: --Must be in grades 7-12 with the exception of one year of eligibility after graduation if birthday is after January 1. Therefore, some of last year’s graduates are eligible to play.
--A player must reside in MCC’s school district as that is our base school, however, if a player attends MCC Schools or Tri-County Schools, they are eligible to play because Middle River is the closest town that has a Legion baseball team.
--If someone would like more information they can contact Coach Hunter @ 218-684-1052 and he will point them in the right direction.
--A team may only have 18 players on its roster. As of now, the new Middle River Renegade team has 16 signed up.
