The Freeze and Bearcats played a very physical game in Lancaster on Sept 8 and the Bearcats came out on top, winning 18-14.
KCC led at the quarter break 6-0. The Freeze answered in the 2nd quarter taking the lead on a Straet Spilde TD and Nick Lund conversion at 8-6. KCC closed the half with a TD taking a 12-8 lead into halftime.
KCC scored the only points in the 3rd quarter and the Freeze added a TD pass from Everett Nelson to Nick Lund to close out the scoring 18-14.
Freeze were led on the ground by Everett Nelson with 16 carries for 83 yards. Nick Lund led all receivers with 7 catches for 74 yards and a touchdown.
The Freeze look to get in the win column vs Park Christian on September 15 in Newfolden.
