Paralyzed brothers to get transportation thanks to generosity of strangers

Carol is the daughter of Leo and Nathalia Orpen of Middle River and they are the proud grandparents of these two boys that are exhibiting such strength of character. Just over a year ago, we reported the story of the accidents and the boys’ remarkable will to be independent. Middle River people are a part of this story. Last year’s Goose Festival Community Church Service offering was donated to these boys, as was all sales from the purchase of CDs sold by our guest musicians, the Overtones from Roseau.
