Math League had their fourth competition of the season on Tuesday, January 24th, 2023. Competing on the Varsity Scoring Team: Elizabeth Gust, Cassie Dahl, Honna Westlund, Hannah Bergsnev, Sierra Westberg, Vincent Stenberg, Audrey Gust, and Mya Bennett. Competing as Individuals: McKenna Bennett, Ava Novacek, Sawyer Strand, Meagan Otto, Katelyn Waage, Kenzie Dahl, Brylie Kjersten, Clara Bergsnev, and Jalyssa Gust.

this year’s finalists are (front) Kaeleigh Anderson, Briggs Bertilrud, Carson Stauffenecker, Swayze Wiskow, Amity Foss, Sascha Melby (back) Alec Beito, Will Foss, Nathan Gust, Sierra Landsrud, Jude Vacura, and Arber Shields. Coordinator for the event was Robin Waage, pronouncer Sharon Schultz, and judges Judy Pulzcinski and Kari Tydlaka.

The MCC Freeze Frame Robotics and Drones teams, under the direction of Katie Melgaard and Barry Busacker have had a very successful season.

Over the last days of Health 9, Ashley Turner and Jenna Caldwell from Tri-County EMS were in Mrs. Laura Dahl’s class teaching some very important life saving skills. After the completion of this program, the students will be CPR and First Aid certified.

The Northwest Minnesota District of the AFLC Mid-Winter Bible Conference meets at Alma Free Lutheran rural Argyle on Friday, February 3 and on Saturday, February 4 at 9:00 and 10:45 AM with lunch to follow.
