The Northern Freeze Cross Country team competed in the NW MN Conference meet in Red Lake Falls. We had a tremendouse day on a fabulously hilly course! Wow!! This was Red Lake Falls first time hosting and they delivered a very challenging, hilly course for us, it was a great meet!

Cade Knutsen of Middle River recently committed to play baseball in 2024 at Valley City State University. He was VCSU’s first commitment for their 2024 recruiting class.

The Freeze and Bearcats played a very physical game in Lancaster on Sept 8 and the Bearcats came out on top, winning 18-14.

The Gator volleyball team showed some early season power as they took home third place in a tournament consisting of 16 powerful competitors. They defeated Thief River Falls, Win-E-Mac, East Grand Forks, and lost to Nevis in the gold division before defeating Kittson County Central for third place. Mark your calendars for an evening of duck banding on Friday, September 8, 5:30 pm at Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge. All ages are welcome to join in the fun and ‘ruffle some feathers’. Meet at the Refuge headquarters at 5:30 pm. No pre-registration is required and the event is free to the public.
