Once again, the Newfolden Grateful Hearts Quilts of Valor presented beautiful, patriotic quilts to area Veteran’s during the Veteran’s Day program presented at MCC. American Legion Post 427 and MCC High School presented a moving program, featuring music by MCC High School Choirs, a welcome from Superintendent Jeffrey Lund, and an explanation of the POW/MIA Empty Table by Noah Underdahl and Rylie Fredrickson. Pastor Ollie Urdahl served as the chaplain.

Happy 104th Birthday Auxiliary!

On Wednesday, November 8th, the MCC chapter of the National Honor Society inducted six new members: Halle Baldwin, Emma Nelson, Reagan Mimnaugh, Grady Hockstedler, Nick Lund, and Everett Nelson. Selection into the National Honor Society begins with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Students who meet the academic eligibility are given an application to help exemplify the other three pillars of NHS: character, service, and leadership. Upon completion of the applications, a faculty committee reviews the applications to determine if all four pillars of NHS are properly met, and then admission is granted to those applicants.
