At 11:28 pm, November 8th, 2023, Alyssa Aune heard 3 gun shots fired into their horse pasture which is next to their house. Their horse, Parker, was shot and had to be put down because of his injuries. This occurred near Gatzke, MN, Marshall County. 4 miles from HWY 89.

Newfolden Grateful Hearts Quilts of Valor presented on Veteran’s Day at MCC

Once again, the Newfolden Grateful Hearts Quilts of Valor presented beautiful, patriotic quilts to area Veteran’s during the Veteran’s Day program presented at MCC. American Legion Post 427 and MCC High School presented a moving program, featuring music by MCC High School Choirs, a welcome from Superintendent Jeffrey Lund, and an explanation of the POW/MIA Empty Table by Noah Underdahl and Rylie Fredrickson. Pastor Ollie Urdahl served as the chaplain.
